Your lease, renewing and moving out

When a bank, an employer or an embassy asks you to prove where you live, give them the QR code or the reference on your lease. They need no account to check it.

A check shows only that the agreement exists, whether it is signed and when. It does not show your name, your rent or your address.

1. 1Send WANT TO RENEW to tell your landlord you would like to stay on. It reaches them as a request, with a record of when you asked.
2. 2Send MOVE OUT to give notice. Check your lease for how much notice you owe; the message does not change what you agreed.
3. 3Send METER READING where your landlord asks for readings, then the number when prompted.

NoteThese send a request and keep a record of it. They are not an agreement on their own, and your landlord still has to respond.

Your landlord settles your deposit against the condition of the property and anything still owed. Ask them for the settlement line by line.

Clearing any rent you owe before you leave keeps the settlement simple.
