The Vault

A private store for title deeds, leases, receipts and IDs, behind its own PIN.

Store a document

  1. Open Vault and enter your Vault PIN.
  2. Upload any image or document. Photos have their location data removed first.
  3. Give it a title and a collection so you can find it again.

How it is kept

Every file is encrypted with its own key before it is stored, and that key is locked with a key that belongs to your account alone. Files are only ever opened through Tezeka after your PIN, never by a public link.

If you close your account, your files are deleted and your key is destroyed, which also makes any copy in a backup unreadable once those backups expire.

NoteTezeka runs the service that holds the keys, so this is not a system Tezeka is locked out of. Keep originals of anything irreplaceable.

If something goes wrong

I forgot my Vault PIN.

Reset it from the Vault screen. Tezeka confirms it is you before a new PIN is set.
